Red Lips & Nails by Brianna Cannon is a product of all my years loving and working in the fashion and retail industry. I spent 15 years of my life working in retail stores, and 10 of those years in retail management with some of the world’s leading luxury retailers including Louis Vuitton, Gucci, and Neiman Marcus. During my tenure with these leaders in luxury, I learned a few things:
Style is important.
Everyone feels better when they look good.
Wearing red lips & nails makes me very happy and never, ever gets old.
I left the store side of retail in August 2017 to spend more time with family…but I’m not capable of not working apparently because I started a retail consulting business to provide support, expertise, and assistance to boutiques and small businesses, then launched my blog in November, and in February 2018 I began the massive new venture of launching my own licensed collegiate jewelry brand.
The purpose of this blog is to share my thoughts, experiences, and the everyday happenings of my life so you can be inspired to live well, love well, and dress very well.
Other things you should know about me:
- I’m a devoted servant of Jesus. I try hard every day to be more like Christ, but I constantly fall short. I’m so thankful to serve a loving God who continually extends grace even though I don’t deserve it. There’s nothing else in life that I can devote time to that will ALWAYS provide fulfillment, contentment, relieve stress, and make me a better person. Jesus’ love is my constant and my rock in this crazy world.
- I have the world’s most incredible husband. Eric and I were married in August 2010 after dating for nearly 4 years during and after college at Texas Christian University. I am 100% convinced that God plucked him from the universe and put him in my path because I couldn’t have even dreamed of a more wonderful man to do life with.
- I am a boy mom. My two sons, Champ and Easton, are the greatest gifts God has ever bestowed upon me and they have changed my entire being. I am truly a better person since becoming their mommy. OH and they were born one year apart, in March 2015 and 2016! As you can imagine, our hands and hearts are very full 🙂
- I LOVE Horned Frogs. I graduated from Texas Christian University in 2008 and let me tell you– it was a bitter sweet day. My years at TCU were incredible and because of TCU, I met my husband and became molded into the more confident person that I am today. Plus, I love collegiate football and baseball– which is a lot of fun when your alma mater rocks at both like TCU. #GoFrogs!
